A few of us have started a local Chapter for Louisville, KY. We would like to also work on the main KY Chapter as well. Louisville is a main hub for the State of Kentucky and we are hoping that by working in both we can spread this movement quickly in our state.

We have started a website, www.zeitgeistkentucky.com that we would also like added to the Chapter’s list as well, if possible.

We are lucky enough to have a great deal of resources at our disposal. Kentucky is one of those states that is hanging on the cusp. Though this state has traditionally been conservative, we are seeing a trend move our way. There is a small city in the State of Kentucky called Berea, that is working to become one of the first “Transition Towns” in the state of Kentucky. Though this transition plan isn’t necessarily along the lines of The Venus Project, we still see this as step in the right direction. Look into www.sustainableberea.org if you are interested in learning more.

Please let us know if there is any more that we can do. We will continue to listen, learn, as well as educate others.
