Updates on the trip!

Well we are now sitting in front of walmart parked for the night, it is the day of my leaving for the trip and are now in Berea, KY

we spoke with the college here and found that it is free using a work-based system to pay off you tuitions. there is also an eco-village where a bunch of people live self-sustainably.

lastly, we ran into a bluegrass band and someone from the wheels team got up and sang, i thought that was randomly fun.

so we will be up tomorrow to explore more of berea and i will keep you all updated as best i can, till then, keep moving forward.

Well we met someone from sustainable berea and so now we have someone to stay in contact with. She let us stay at her house, partied with us, took us hiking and a bunch of other awesome stuff. Berea was super fun, from random jam sessions to learning how they're trying to fight peak oil and such.

i think we'll be rolling out today and heading further south, we flipped a coin to decide which direction we're going, lol. we plan to be in florida by the 13th, i think we sit in one spot too long though so there is a chance ill come back because i can't just sit here for that long.

Well, we are now in Asheville North Carolina and it is for sure an awesome place, I suppose it's a hippie town from what i've seen thus far. this is the second night in a row that we've partied though and that's more than i usually do making it somewhat overwhelming but it's all good. tonight we will be showing Addendum to a few people here that are big on this sort of thing. Since coming here, it now appears to me that Berea and Asheville are both good prospects for a transition town. I'm trying to make a short documentary of the trip and hopefully this will give some insight more on the trip. Next I think we will be going to the beach and hanging out for a while before we shoot to florida.

Sorry guys I haven't posted but my internet access was limited. I'm back now and let me say the Florida is dreadful lol. I'll be posting some videos and I'll comment more on my trip later when I have more time. Let's just say for now, that going to TVP was awesome and meeting Jacque was too, meeting Roxxane was a little disappointing to say the least.
